Meet Bonnie Bagley Catlin

About Bonnie

I believe a beautiful home should give you something back. Not just a room that looks stunning in photos, but a place that invites you to stay a little longer. A kitchen where everyone naturally gathers, a living room built for generations to share, and a primary suite that feels like a true sanctuary. That is the kind of home I love to create.

I’m Bonnie Bagley Catlin, Founder and Owner of Signature Designs. For over 25 years, I’ve helped clients create spaces that reflect their unique identities. As a mother of two grown children, I know firsthand that our homes must adapt as our lives evolve. The way you live at 35 is very different from how you live at 55, families grow, priorities shift, and entertainment styles change.

Before I ever think about what a space should look like, I want to understand how you want to live in it:

  • Where does your family naturally gather?
  • What frustrates you about your current layout?
  • What do you wish your home could do for you?
How do you want to feel when you step through the door?

My role is to translate your answers into an elevated environment that feels unmistakably yours, not a showroom template or a passing trend, but a tailored backdrop for your life.

Beauty is only the beginning

After more than two decades in high-end design and remodeling, I’ve learned that stunning aesthetics and practical function should never compete.

My career in the Design Build sector began at Neil Kelly, a leading Design Build firm in Portland, Oregon. It was there that I established the strong foundation upon which I have built my expertise over the years. Throughout my career, I have lived and worked across the West Coast, from Seattle to Southern California, serving a diverse clientele in the high-end design build market. In 2020 I finally realized a long-held dream by relocating to Colorado, a move I had envisioned for many years and was thrilled to bring to fruition.

That trajectory built a distinct strength: I love the creative side of design, but I am equally at home on a construction site. I look beyond the initial rendering to master the details that make a renovation successful — flow, structural demands, material longevity, and fine craftsmanship.

Warmly,
Bonnie Bagley Catlin

“I recommend Bonnie Bagley Catlin without hesitation.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Bonnie Bagley Catlin. I’m signature designs from this five years now in my capacity as a Plumbing Showroom sales associate.  My position in The Showroom forwards me to the opportunity of working with many different design designers on a daily basis. From a purely selfish standpoint, I prefer to work with designers who make my job easier. In many appointments with designers who bring in clients, all too often I find myself doing their job as well as mine, and the client is often left with more questions than answers.

Bonnie is an anomaly among many designers with whom I work.  She knows the products – – often times better than I do – – and she strikes a perfect balance with her clients of listening to their knees and desires, While still guiding and directing them towards curated design choices. As a former construction contractor, I know the frustration of working with designers who are style – heavy but have no real world knowledge of practical application. Bonnie does a great job of balancing workable solution solutions with design implementation,

And she is intimately involved with every aspect of the process. As I get older and more jaded by experience, I find myself referring people less and less. I recommend Bonnie Bagley Catlin without hesitation.“
